New tour pictures will be coming up on the Lay Low Facebook page.

We will be putting up new pictures on the Lay Low facebook page from all of the tours of 2010. It has been a great year, played shows in many different places like Australia, Japan, Europe, US and Iceland.

If you have any pictures that you would like to share with us, we would be very happy to see them. You can send them to info@laylow.is or share them on the Lay Low facebook page.

Lovisa has already started working on a new album which will be quite different from previous albums, exciting!

Only one more concert planned in December 2010 which will be held in Selfoss, in the south of Iceland.
Shows are being lined up for 2011 and we will put the show dates up when they have been confirmed.

Have a happy December and be good!

Lay Low in Canada!

We are very happy to announce two Lay Low performances in Canada.

15th of November @ The Garrison – Toronto, Ontario

17th of Nobember @ Le Petit Campus – Montréal, Quebec

It has been a while since Lay Low has been performing internationally with a full band, so this will be very exciting evenings for players and listeners. With a long list of shows all over the world behind her, this will be Lay Low’s first time in Toronto and Montréal. Traveling with them from Iceland is the wonderful icelandic band Retro Stefson who will perform on the same nights. You can expect great icelandic nights.

Toronto, Ontario.

“Every October Iceland hosts one of the best music festivals in the world. This year Iceland Airwaves sold out and now Toronto gets a little taste of it. The Iceland festival runs four days in over a dozen venues across downtown Reykjavík and features hundreds of local and international artists. For the first time Iceland Airwaves’ manager, Grímur Atlason is showcasing two dedicated bands who hit the Iceland music scene so hard they cracked the ice. Bossa Nova/Ghettotech/Surf hipsters Retro Stefson and Folk/Country bohemian Lay Low will share the stage with two Icelandic-Canadian artists Sigrún Stella and Lindy on Tuesday November 16th at the Garrison in Toronto (1197 Dundas St West).”

Montreal, Quebec – M for Montréal.
